We go to Garlieston at least twice a year, always a friendly and helpful welcome from the wardens. We have stayed both on the harbour side and in the walled garden, both very different but equally beautiful. Facilities although the older style are always extremely clean. Used the laundry facilities this time as we had been away quite a while and these were also great. Harbour Inn very friendly and food great, you’d be well advised to book. Garage up the road has a simple shop for basics. The Hive is also a very nice little eatery. Plenty of walking within the local vicinity. One of our favourite sites on the network.
