Stayed the first week in September and  we were blessed with good weather  Our most favourite of sites as it is a haven of peace and tranquility The wardens are helpful,friendly but no intrusive and the site is a credit to them both with the lovely flower baskets and the overall cleansiness the pitches are well maintained and spacious The surrounding walks and the small beach are  excellent for visitors with dogs  and the friendly pub in the village serves excellent food from breakfast to evening meals For those with children there is not much around to entertain but for those without a great place to relax and chill limited shopping in this small village so it is advisable to stock up as the nearest supermarket we found was in Newton Stewart Definately back for R&R next year!
