Time warp!

We were met by relief wardens Colin and his wife who were charming, funny and extremely helpful.  We then met the actual wardens Martin and Ann who are a major asset to the Club and epitomise how wardens should be. Both have complete ownership of their site and this is shown through immaculate facilities and beautiful landscaping. Plenty of walks for you and the dogs. Overlooked by the Galloway Hills and a picturesque harbour to look at!  Please take time to drive the coastal route to the the Mull of Gallaway, outstanding, breathtaking scenery that is the best I have seen in Britain, truly. We stayed in the sheltered wall garden opposite the harbour which cut down the in shore breeze, our outfit was too big for harbour side. This is the most tranquil site and quaint area we have stayed at, mobile bank, fishmonger, butcher and manned fuel pumps.... takes me back about 40 years, but all the better for it. Very easy road access, no issues at all.
