We live only 40 miles from this site but strangely enough we had never stayed - an omission that we regret and we will put matters right by returning frequently. It's a delightful spot, important historically for the construction of the Mulberry Harbours which were used to facilitate landings in France etc during WW2. Close to Whithorn, believed to be the place that Christianity was brought to Scotland. Excellent dog walks and the Harbour Inn only 200 yards away serving good food and real ale - what more could you wish for.
