Been arriving at garlieston for 15 years now and love the village and surrounding area. Was in main area due to our large van but always go for walled garden if available. area great for walking cycling. Petrol station shop great for shopping. Great natural honey sold there. Harbour inn great meals. Never used facilities as used our own. It’s the first time I have had bother with booming music coming from bottom flat next to the site. But they turned it down when I asked them too. Relief wardens where great and explained everything about the routine on site and gave out lots of information regarding the site. They where always on the go and kept us safe. The site is lovely and empty at this time of the year and would return in Oct but not in summer as busy. Have booked a lovely holiday house in garlieston as we feel safer doing this.
