Real chill out site
My third visit to this site that I love for chilling out. From the harbour I watched the heron, oystercatchers and other waders on the outgoing tide and strolled along the coast with my aging dog.
The wet fish van arrives on Tuesday evenings and sells delicious fish and seafood. Shame that the only shop now in Garlieston is the post office/grocers and that is up for sale. Do hope someone takes it on as a general food store. As usual all the facilities are spotless and the wardens brilliant.
