This was our first trip to Scotland and visited this site on advice from some friends. What a wonderful site. Anne and Martin are wonderful wardens. On arrival we were advised of some building work starting on the bridge on site, and as we pitched near the bridge, they made sure that we were not disturbed by the workmen. The workmen were also considerate and we hardly noticed them to be honest. The facilities were very clean and the site very well kept. The local pub is a haven, and the locals made us feel very welcome. The meal we had was also wonderful. The pub also does breakfast and has a tea room but we did not try this. There are plenty of walks in the area. I have placed a lower rating for families as if children want arcades and computers this would not be suitable. If they like exploring and going on the beach then this will be fine. We will certainly return.
