Peace perfect peace

A great site for peace tranquility. The site is well maintained and facilities are kept immaculate. The entrances to both halves of the site are decorated with small gardens which are kept up together by Ann (she weeded twice in our in our ten days) The local beach is just across the road from the walled garden site and is dog friendly. Plenty of poo bins!!!! The walk around to Rigg Bay is a bird song paradise. The roads are very quiet but in places a little rough for caravans. Do not bother to drive to Garvin on the A714 as it is the worst road surface we have ever been on. Take the long route along the A75 and then the A77. The local pub has a terrific reputation but I think is about to change hands. The Bladnoch Inn is a few miles North of Garlieston and is well worth a few visits. The Sunday carvery has to be experienced there were 9 vegetables, 3 types of potato, four types of meat and wonderful yorkshires.
