I booked online and turned up at 1710 hrs on the allotted day after a four hour drive. I was met by a very grumpy couple in full caravan club regalia who told me they were just about to have their dinner as booking in finished at 1700. The booking information showed no time of arrival and 1710 is not exactly the middle of the night.  The location is the best thing about this site it is right on the harbour side. Having said that the pitches are quite close together and there are the usual rules about parking in a certain way etc. The toilet block was very clean, though perhaps not enough showered and cubicles for the number of people staying there.  This was our first experience of a full club site and we won't repeat it. The staff moaned about bins being full and generally were like black clouds over my long weekend. We know the area well and love it, I would certainly recommend visiting the area in general, but find somewhere else to stay.
