We've just spent 4 nights at Garlieston, a great little site. The wardens are friendly and have made a real effort with floral displays at the entrance to both parts of the site(one part in a walled garden, the other right on the harbour front with great views). The toilet block is fine but a bit older than some other Club sites. We enjoyed 2 great cycle rides direct from the site. There's a board just outside the site which displays 3 routes which range in distance from about 17 to 25 miles. The routes we chose were relatively easy, through lovely rolling countryside, one to the Isle of Whithorn and the other to Wigton and around. There are little villages where you can buy food or cups of tea.
