First visit won’t be the last

Stayed for 4 nights which is usually our maximum but could have stayed another couple. Lovely pleasant wardens, facilities a little dated but the whole site kept immaculate by the wardens. On arrival we was given great info on each available pitch and chose one in the walled garden as recommended, I actually thought we had made a mistake at 1st and should have chosen one on the main site with the views but I’ve got to say the wardens info was spot on and we sat out from morning until late evening. Walks are simply 2nd to none in both directions from a 14mile round trip to the castle, but you can make this as short or as long as you like and the views and secluded bays are absolutely stunning without having to trek too far, fantastic for dogs!! Lovely pub 2 mins walk. Useful shop near bye. Make sure your dogs tic and flea treatment is up to date but to be honest this goes for most of Scotland due to the amount of Deer and we saw quite a few. All in all couldn’t find fault whatsoever.
