Booked into this lovely site as we are new to caravanning and it was only a couple of hours or so drive away from home. Firstly the location is beautiful with fabulous views across the bay and the site is snugly tucked in a corner of the village. The wardens were extremely helpful and always ready to assist with advice and tips. The site was pristine and the facilities are kept to a very high standard. Costal walks are on the doorstep (literally) and there is an abundance of bird life to be found on the shoreline, marshes and woodlands nearby. We even spotted a deer a few meters away when exploring the gardens at Garlieston House which are well worth a visit. The weather was superb which always helps get a holiday off to a good start but I am sure that we could not have selected a better site for our first trip. As I have said the wardens were very helpful as were all the other caravaners whom we spoke with during our trip. Come visit this site, you won't be dissapointed.
