We have been visiting this site for many years and our first trip this year was from 11 to 14th May. As always the site was in excellent condition thanks to the hard work of Anne and Martin who are the wardens. We normally stay on the harbour side but for the second time we chose the walled area which was nice and sheltered from the wee wind that was blowing and allowed me to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. We enjoy the surrounding area which is great for cycling and walking. The Harbour Hotel serves great food and the lovely guy who has the wee shop at he garage is extremely helpful and will order rolls, bread, milk for you. My only comment is to the Caravan and Motorhome club is:it’s time the toilet blocks were upgraded. Anne and Martin keep the toilet facilities spotlessly clean but cannot upgrade the facilities so come on club ‘finger out’ and get them upgraded. We use club sites all the time especially in Scotland, where we live, and find other club sites which are not so busy or picturesque have been upgraded in the past few years.
