A seaside site
We arrived in mid afternoon and there was only a choice of two pitches in the walled garden. The pitches on the harbour side looked very small and close together so luckily we wouldn't have wanted to be there. No trees or hedges between pitches. The whole site feels cramped. A long outfit in some of the walled garden pitches would be very difficult to park. We don't use the site facilities so cannot comment. The village pub, while friendly, was a disappointment as far as the meal was concerned. Sunday carvery with overcooked beef, no crackling with the pork. and synthetic apple sauce was not what I had expected from previous glowing reviews. However we did enjoy the area and particularly walking along the coast and spending the afternoon on the beach. If we were ever to return to Scotland we would be unlikely to choose that site again.
