We’ve been to Garlieston 3 times before and just returned after a couple days/ nights on site. Due to an overnight rain deluge some grass pitches were unsuitable for heavier Motorhomes so the wardens had to allocate all pitches. We arrived on arrival time and after moving from an unsuitable pitch landed on a hard standing pitch which was just about big enough for us What is slightly disappointing is that other more suitable pitches with better locations were provided to other campers who arrived much later than us. Och well...we’ll just have come back at the end of October when it’s less busy.
