Too like a car park

The location of this site is delightful, though the road down the hill is very steep it leads to a lovely hidden valley back from the huge beach. This is not a kiss me quick beach, but a great place for kids and dogs to run about, let off steam, paddle in the sand ponds and have a great old fashioned time. The disappointment of the site though - it really is a car park with poorly levelled pitches, far too close together (the CC really seems to take the fire regs minimum distance as the max space needed and therefore as permission to cram in as many people as possible). Very loud music and shouting was not managed, mainly because the wardens are a very long way from the back of the site I imagine. Thankfully it did stop about 10.30-11pm. There are insufficient showers and toilets (with low water pressure too for loo filling) for the number of people on the site and since there is a steep walk to the blocks going back and forth to find a loo or shower means you lose the will to live after a while. Shame, the site could be lovely but for the club determination to overcrowd and lay everything out in car park format. Would probably be great in very low season and few visitors.
