Still great but....

Just revisited this site after a few years absence & it was as good as we remembered. The nearby beach is a pleasure to visit and keeps the dogs happy. All the appropriate supermarkets are now available now that Lidl & Aldi are present in Pembroke Dock. We were a bit put off the first night by the nearby firing range going on until midnight & it would be worth having a notice up somewhere of the night firing sessions to warn people . There have been many comments regarding the new toilet block & its poor design with only 3 male toilets positions which caused some delays during our trip. What was worse from our point of view was the chemical emptying point part of this development. Having climbed the hill to reach it you are faced with lifting the cassette up over an 8 inch step to get onto the map tying point. Not good for my back!! You’d have thought the club knew how to design toilet blocks by now! It was also strange that arrival time is 13:00 rather than the normal 12:00 but it doesn’t matter as when we were there people were allowed on from 11:30. The wardens have little choice with the very limited access to the site and only room to park up 2 or so units at reception. Yes we had a great break but there are now some wrinkles to be ironed out
