We have visited this site on many different occasions but this was the first time in the main school holiday period.  The site was very full and we were concerned that it may be to busy for us but apart from children on scooters and bikes riding around and enjoying themselves , we still thoroughly enjoyed our break there. The second shower block was quite busy and unfortunately the showers did have quite a lot of sand in them by early evening but this was to be expected as the weather was perfect for the beach. The walk to the beach only takes a couple of minutes and is well worth it.  The coastal path towards Stackpole Quay is a lovely walk and the National Trust cafe is ideal for lunch or tea. The wardens were all very pleasant and helpful.  We will definitely be returning again next year, hopefully on more than one occasion.  Very pleased to hear that the shower block is being refurbished during the winter months.
