Freshwater, nice beach

The beach is the best thing about Freshwater East, just hope for good weather. Peace and quiet: the crows start very early and go on all day. Facilities: new top toilet block, Bollard TV, about 5 channels, if using Sat Dish you need the top row of pitches to get above the trees. Dog walk , very small and IMO dangerous, not enough service points, no phone signal. Unable to order newspapers for the morning and the nearest shop is the garage in Lamphey. The shop on the next site doesn't sell papers. Cleanliness: CC standards, Location: it depends what you want, great for walkers, but for those with mobility problems the site is too long and steep in places. Pembroke is a small town with a ruined castle and there's Tenby. Families: There's the beach and a small play park on site. Overall: It's easy to get there, just follow the CC directions, plenty of supermarkets in Pembroke, fuel was cheaper than home. It used to be a cheap site to go to but it's not anymore, seeing that it has very little to offer.
