Freshwater East, Perfect Place!

We stayed here for 2 wonderful nights at the very end of the 2017 season. What a gorgeous place! The site is immaculate, the toilets & showers were so warm & clean, positively luxurious and the staff were incredibly welcoming & friendly. We'd love to have stayed longer but alas the site was closing for the winter, The place was so peaceful & quiet, but with loads to do & see a short drive away, Walks along the beautiful nearby sandy beach or the coastal walks, cycling too. An absolute Jem of a place. TV reception was very poor fine with the booster but that didn't have any EPG.... never come across that before, which meant we could not set the video to record when we went out. But hey I'm not even being picky here I just found it strange! Site wifi was well covered with a very strong wifi signal, but phone reception was very weak on EE network. There is a holiday complex a short walk away that has a bar called "The Longhouse" you can get basic pub grub there at very reasonable prices & its definitely worth a visit.although it's more like a club house than your typical country pub. There was live music the night we went, which was also their Halloween evening & we enjoyed ourselves. In short this was undoubtedly the VERY best site we stayed on our 10 day visit to Wales at the end of October & this is the one we loved the most.
