Just had our annual visit to Ferry Meadows which we enjoyed very much. We got a shock at how empty the site was compared to last year but this was to our advantage. Had some lovely walks in the park and our granddaughters tried out paddle boarding on the lake. Lakeside cafe give 10% off the bill for caravan members but just check as sometimes the staff forget to take the discount off, even if you mention it numerous times. We don’t eat the fish and chips on site as we tried them the first time we visited the site and they tasted awful, so we purchase fish and chips off site. Will be back next year.
