We stayed at this site for 5 nights from 15th August with our 5 year old and really enjoyed it. The site and facilities are very clean and well maintained. All of the staff we encountered were happy & helpful and gave us some very useful tips given our newness to the camping experience! Our daughter loved the playground and we were fortunate not to have any issues in there even when our daughter took some bigger kids to task about their riding their bikes over the astro-turfed tunnel! We did, however, witness the warden very firmly challenge a group of children about their bad language which reassured me given the age of our daughter. The park on which the campsite is located is fantastic, huge flat recreational area on which you can play ball games, fly a kite or just relax, numerous walks and 3 different play areas all of which our daughter loved! A fish & chip van visits the site every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday evenings which was a welcome provision the day we arrived being a little later than we had planned! The only reason for 4 stars for facilities is because a larger dishwashing area would be beneficial. As it is quite a large site, with only 4 sinks, we frequently had to queue for a sink to become available. This however is a very minor point and did not detract from a very enjoyable stay.
