We have been here many times over the years staying on both the East & West sides. Generally the East side is more family orientated with lots of grass pitches whilst the West side is mainly hardstandings and generally hosts the older generation. This time we stayed on the East side as we wanted a grass pitch and as expected had many families and a large amount of grandchildren. Overall this was fine and didn't impact on us. However, I was concerned about the number of children riding bikes and scooters against the traffic and the number of people who quite clearly were going faster than 5mph (even when arriving with van on the back. We have an automatic and had to brake to keep within this limit but found small children overtaking us and often swerving in front of us. I hesitate to say that sometimes the adults were just as bad on the bikes. Otherwise the site was as usual very good and the wardens helpful and friendly.
