Second visit to this wonderful site
This caravan site was the second caravan club site we visited after becoming Club Members. We enjoyed it so much we decided to visit again 2 months later!
The site is spacious and extremely well run with excellent friendly staff. Although there are over 200 pitches it never seems cramped as it is set over two separate areas each of which is split into different sections. One side is more formal and tree lined, the other side (on the opposite side of the road) has more informal pitches and is more open although still lined with trees. Both sides are superbly looked after and have excellent facilities. It is possible to cycle or walk from the site into Peterborough without going by road which is a plus.
The site itself is set within a beautiful country park which is what makes it such an attraction. The park has beautiful lakes, cycle rides, play facilities for children, boating facilities, a cafe and separate bar overlooking the lake. The wildlife is abundant.
This site is ideal for families, or like us, an older couple!
