Another quality Ferry Meadows visit
Easy access, good positioned sunny level pitch number 78 (79 and 80 flooded), transport and cycle path / links to Peterborough, no site 'gotchas'. Nice pub at the top of Ham Lane (Granary), a tranquil family site with good practical thinking wardens - we will be rebooking soon.
A Firm Favourite
Our very first caravan trip.
This was the first time we had been away in our caravan so I am making this review without being able to compare with other sites. The site is very to find and is only a few miles from the A1. We received a very warm and friendly welcome despite arriving late and we were offered assistance to set up when I mentioned that it was my first outing. The site was surprisingly busy given that it was mid-December but I found our plot easily enough and embarked on the task of setting up in the dark (won't be doing that again). Morning revealed a very attractive spot with the added benefit of the occasional steam train chugging by on the Nene Valley Railway. The rain kept up pretty incessantly during our stay so we didn't do much exploring, preferring to stay in a cosy pub. Facilities at the site were immaculate and exceeded my expectations so we will definitely be back when the weather improves.

Windy Weekend
12/11/15. It was a wet and windy weekend on a site that is right on our doorstep, took us 25 mins to get there. Last time we was there must have been 20 years ago. We think the the site is well placed for everything you could need for short or long break. Will be going back after Xmas
