Flying bicycle and smelly ladies room

Nice area for the club site, enjoyed out visit at Peterborough cathedral and around town centre. But was worried on our way back on our caravan because loads of children flying on their bicycle on same road for the car to use and I can see an accident waiting to happen. I wasn't also impress with the ladies facility, as you open the door there is an distinctive smells of wee.. And also when you're inside, the smell get worse..This might be because of school breaks.. The site was more busy.  Probably won't be going back but will be trying all the club site..

Great location

We only stayed one night as we were on the way back from somewhere else, but decided we'd enjoy a longer visit in the future. It is so convenient being next to the country park - even though ours was a short stay, we still managed a couple of long-ish walks. Friendly wardens, clean facilities, quiet and peaceful site. What more could you ask for? We will definitely visit again.

Seasonal Pitch

We have taken a summer seasonal pitch this year, as always this site lives up to its expectations. Cleanliness is second to none, wardens very helpful, facilities and local amenities superb,I didn't score 5 on peace and quiet, but that is only to give an honest review, after all it is a wonderful site for young families and with that comes the sound of kiddies playing. Doesn't bother me or most people as overall we love this site and will keep coming back over and over again.

Very Nice

First visit to the site and very pleasantly surprised. Booked for two nights but stayed for three wish we could have stayed longer. Nice spacious and level pitches. We stayed at the east side which we much preferred as more informal. Nene Park is adjacent to the site with free access. Superb park with lots of walks. Also ideal for dog owners. Facilities very clean and staff helpful. Well worth a visit. Also easy access to Peterborough via car, cycle or walking. Will certainly visit again.

First visit

We visited this site for one night as we were checking out our new caravan. We were pleasantly surprised with our visit. Although this is a large site it is layer out well and still feels quite private when on pitches. The toilet block is up to the standard we have come to expect from the club. The park area and lake  just outside the site are perfect for a leisurely stroll or to walk the dogs. Would definitely visit again for a longer period.

First time caravanner

We purchased our first caravan and decided that our first outing would be a local one (10 miles) on arrival at ferry meadows we were met by very helpful staff who when we informed them that we were new at caravanning helped us even more. The site was clean and tidy and other caravan owners were happy to give us information on various subjects

Our stay at ferry meadows

This is a great site, excellent location and well kept facilities. The wardens were extreamly helpful ( I saw one who went out of his way to sort out a caravaners TV.) Toilets very clean and the site well maintained, we will deffinately come here again. Local pub not brill but a couple of good Chef & Brewers a short drive away. C&S BJ

Nice site. Shame about the wardens.

We had a short stay here and although site is a good location for us from the moment we arrived the attitude from at least one of the wardens not only to us but another couple that also arrived when we did was completely disgusting. So rude is an understatement. We also feel that the wardens were not helpful in any way during our stay. I also observed that there was no maintenance like grass cutting which I feel was needed but a lot of standing around by the wardens especially in reception area! The day we were due to depart agreed we were over the time departure only by 5 minutes because I used the site toilet on site then returned to my unit to be confronted by a warden saying you need to be off site NOW with a abrupt tone. I love the site and surroundings and if we returned I would not miss the wardens and would hope we were greeted by new wardens with a more warm welcome and more helpful. As a member of a service we pay for I would expect a more polite and helpful warden.

Near on perfect

Just spent 4 days here, I say near on perfect because the only issue we had was poor reception for TV and broadband, but that really did not spoil our weekend, as there is plenty to do and see without having to travel far, the park is beautiful, and to top it all we had glorious weather, will definitely visit again. All in all a very well run site with very helpful and friendly staff . Thankyou ferry meadows.

Good site to visit

Just spent a week at ferry meadows, East side best on grass. Perfect. Suggest the Tv reception requires attention. Booster did not do the job, I had my sky dish so wasnt worried. several other visitors in area had problems with reception and booster did not work. Other than that enjoyed and will go there again.
