Excellent as ever

Our second short visit this year. This site is one of our favourites with great, clean facilities just as you would expect. Helpful friendly wardens. We love the location and the availability of walks from the site. We will be returning again.

Great Easter

Just had seven nights at Ferry and the site was spotless, great wardens, everywhere well cared for. The wardens never seemed to stop working, very friendly and approachable. The shop was always well stocked with fresh bread and rolls from a local bakery delivered daily a treat to be back there and can't wait to go again. Thanks all.

Motorhome service point

Loved the site however the motorhome service points at club sites always seem to be the wrong way round as my water filler and disposal points are on the offside forcing me to turn around and go the wrong way on a one way system!

Ideal for families

Just a short stay with the grandchildren aged 8 and 6. They had so much fun in the new playpark, made friends and the youngest threw his bycycle stabilisers away and was off! The site is well kept and the service areas are helpfully placed at various points on each of the two sites. The site staff were welcoming and attentive especially when one of our grandchildren had a knock, witnessed and cared for by a site warden. I cannot think of one reason not to call this a perfect site for campers with their children.

Excellent

A well kept site close to great park facilities and railway. Pleasant and efficient wardens. Hard to believe that this is right on the border of a city.

Ferry Meadows in Nene Valley Country Park.

Ferry Meadows CC site is situated in an excellent position in The Nene Valley Country Park which contains many leisure facilities - walks, bike routes, water activities, wild life and a steam railway! The site is very well kept, very clean and tidy with friendly and helpful wardens. As the site is in two sections East side for families and West side for a quieter pitch. Pitches are level and a generous size. We have stayed here many times over the years and would thoroughly recommend it. Easy access to Peterborough by bus, train or walking.

Lovely site

Stayed March 24-26th. Site easy to find, very clean & tidy. Liked that it had a small shop.Dog friendly site. Lots of local walks/pubs & fish and chip van on site Fri/Sat pm. Couldn't get any TV reception but that didn't really matter. Will definately go back sometime & take the teenagers. Ideal if you have bikes too.Nene railway runs very close to the site & goes to Peterborough, it was lovely to see the steam engine. Discount fares for members & £1 for a dog!

Lovely Site!

We love Ferry Meadow caravan site it is nice and quiet, has nice walks in the area. Easy access for the bus into Peterborough. The wardens are doing a great job looking after the site, which makes it one of the best places to visit and we can't wait return.

Stayed for the weekend Friday 17 March to Sunday 19 March. Lovely facilities, staff very helpful, minor problem with the electricity supply which in no way detracted from our stay. Will come again

Great site

This was our first CC site being new motorhome owners! Lovely site, plenty of space, peaceful and clean. Very good facilities, clean and warm. Good shop, very nice managers, Alan especially very helpful with useful hints and tips. Lovely walks local to the site. Would definitely go back again.
