This was our first motorhome outing with 4 small dogs. Boy, did we hit the jackpot with this site. It’s small and very peaceful with excellent, clean and tidy facilities. It’s not great for families as there is not much to do if you have little ones. If, however, you have dogs, you couldn’t ask for more. The site is surrounded by woodland that is lovely for an early morning walk with the dogs. A short 5 minute walk through this wood you’ll find The Two Sawyers pub. A delightful dog friendly pub with a lovely garden. However, for us and our dogs, the piece de resistance was Guestling Wood. Just across the site entrance over a small lane is an entrance to 110 acres of doggy heaven! The site wardens were fantastic and when we asked if we could stay a further night, they made sure we stayed on the same pitch. It should also be noted that a lot of guests were trying to book extra nights. I think that says it all. Highly recommend!
