Week long stay in August
We had a lovely stay for a week in August. Having read the reviews we asked upon arrival for one of the sunnier pitches and were pointed in the right direction.
We had plot 38 which was a hardstanding awning pitch. It was certainly big enough although I would add that the access road is quite narrow so reversing onto the plot was a bit tight, but if you have a mover you won't have any issues at all.
The toilet block was very clean and the bins etc were regularly emptied and I saw the staff wiping down taps, drains etc at the severe points which is good to see.
We liked the relaxed atmosphere of the site and the Wardens were very helpful and friendly.
Make sure you read the arrival instructions re SatNavs as the road is tight and if you're not careful your SatNav might send you down some very narrow roads.
The local pub is a five minute walk and well worth a visit, the food and service was great.
