Tranquil setting in South Exmoor with plenty of walks and places to visit

Stayed on the site for 5 nights starting 20th April. Site is very tidy and clean with nice facilities. Wardens were very helpful and friendly. 3 min walk from site entrance into Dulverton Centre. Nice views of the forested hills surrounding the village. Good selection of shops in Dulverton including a well stocked Co-op. We used the fish and chip shop on one night - was good quality. We were going to buy fish - however there is no fishmonger but the fresh fish van visits the village Tuesdays and Thursdays. We did the "Julia Bradbury" walk from Lynmouth to Watersmeet along the Easy Lyn River. then up a steep forested hill to the Blue Ball at Countisbury, returning to Lynmouth via the south west coast path with magnificent views. One of the best walks (6 miles) we have done! Exmoor is also recommended for Astronomy as it has a very dark sky without much light pollution at night. Would certainly recommend the site.
