We are at the end of a two week stay at the Exmoor House club site. Debbie and Keith, the site wardens, have been amazing. They are so helpful, friendly, happy and hard working. A big thank you to Debbie and Keith for a lovely stay! We visited as a couple with a dog. The site is surrounded by picturesque woodlands, excellent for dog walking and yet the small town is just a few minutes walk away. The Coop was well stocked. Would recommend the pies and Cornish pasties from the bakery which is about 5 to 10 minutes walk from town (turn left at the Post Office and walk along the river). We had a very nice meal at The Bridge Inn and had excellent takeaways from the fish and chip shop. For walking... We found the map of local footpaths from the tourist centre useful. Wimbleball Lake is worth visiting.
