We have just returned from a 7 day stay at Exmoor House and what a lovely site it is. Even though the site was full the whole time we were there is was so peaceful,no road noise just the sound of the river,just what we needed to relax. Dulverton is a quaint little town with lovely shops and museum to look around. We did numerous walks from site, a 12 mile circular to Tarr Steps, and some shorter circular walks from site,so nice not to have to use the car. We visited lynton and lynmouth and walked from there to watersmeet for cream tea. Dunster castle was another great visit.The only small negative,we would have liked a better equipped information room. All in all a great base for a holiday,with lovely friendly wardens who work hard to keep the site immaculate. Will definitely return.
