We had an excellent weekend in October. On arrival on Dulverton the sign for the caravan site could have been a bit bigger and we nearly missed it. The facilities on the site are excellent as you would expect. There is so much to see that we barley scratched the surface. Tarr Steps Clapper Bridge was an enjoyable walk, but you will need a 4x4 to ford the river. Saturday was rather wet so the drive to Dunster was less specatular, but still enjoyable as was the journey on to Minehead and eventually onto Lynton/Lynmouth. Wonder drive back to Dulverton on the autumn sunshine. They keep an excellent beer or 3 in the Bridge Inn Breakfast on Sunday at the Tantivy Shop & Cafe before setting off for home. Will be back soon.
