Recently returned from a week on this 'favourite site and it was as good as ever. Wardens friendly and helpful, loo blocks clean and warm and a 5 minute walk to the local pub and the shops in the village. Where could be more congenial than Dulverton? It's array of independent shops, places to eat out, small local well stocked Co-op meant we didn't need to shop anywhere else for the whole week. Lovely walks from the site and in many wonderful Exmoor places close by. Spectacular views from Dunkery Beacon and the North Sommerset coast an easy drive. A quiet and peaceful site with the river Barle flowing alongside. The recommended route to the site really is the only practical one and you may find it a little challenging if you have a large outfit. You don't come to Exmoor if you are overly bothered about driving on narrow lanes - it's part of the fun. We shall be back for more.
