Fantastic stay

We recently returned from a week's stay at Exmoor House. What a lovely, clean and friendly place it was. The town being right on your doorstep was so easy, with a visitors centre, local shops, co-op and great pubs. Local walks were in abdundance too - the whole area had a lovely 'feel' to it. Visited Dunster castle, Wimbleball Lake and Lynton & Lynmouth, driving through Exmoor National Park to get there. Beautiful area. The site staff were brilliant and had a good laugh with them too. Our only main suggestions would be, to read the instructions in the book and look up the site entrance on google maps before you leave as its not easy, at least you have an idea in your head of what to look out for as not much signage and, please don't arrive before 1pm (as stated in the book too) as the main roads leading to the site are quite tight and the bridge/turning is narrow - you don't want to block, get stuck on the bridge or have to reverse back because you arrive too early (especially with lots of people in town watching) - yep, we did see a few!!
