Exmoor House a lovely Site......

What a lovely site and lovely wardens (there are some wardens who could do with spending some time with these two excellent people). Exmoor House is a small site on the edge of Dulverton a town with everything you need, including a really good heritage centre. The pubs are a bit pricey but at least you can comfortably walk to them. The beer in 'The Bridge' is kept well, a good pub. There is a small co-op , a post office, good butchers, a greengrocers, deli, Thai restaurant, cafes and knick-knack shops. The church is well worth the climb to look around. We saw a couple of buses but couldn't tell you where they went or how often. There is all sorts of places close by if you have a vehicle. The river runs by the site and you can hear it cheerfully babbling along another thing you can hear is not so good a loud hum from the sites boilers at frequent intervals and quite wakeful at night , the warden tells me the club has tried several 'fixes' to no avail. CMHC please persevere because this almost spoilt the holiday through lack of sleep. When choosing your pitch remember if you are near the loos the hand dryer is very noisy. Overall a top site and top wardens !
