Excellent site

We stayed at this site for a week at Easter. The site is in a lovely setting surrounded by trees and is an excellent base for exploring exmoor. It is only a few minutes walk from the lovely little town of Dulverton with lovely independent shops and places to eat. Lovely farm shop which sold lovely bread and pastries which unfortunately I had to pass every morning when walking the dog and never did resist the temptation to go in. Well stocked co-op as well. Lovely walks for dogs in the woods from the site although quite steep to get to woods but well worth it. The wardens are really friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble and they kept the facilities pristine. The site is very quiet with no facilities for children, although our daughter and son-in-law were there with their four children and loved the site and would return. Worth paying a visit to Withypool which has nice walks along river and a lovely little tearoom with homemade cakes and cream tea. Will definately be returning. One note of caution, the last five miles of the road leading to dulverton is very narrow and there is a funny junction where you can go wrong. We did.
