Good for families

An excellent site.

We enjoyed two rather wet weeks on site, but proximity to the village and a good umbrella made our stay very enjoyable. In common with some other members we overshot the entrance road, mistaking the Bridge Inn instruction in the book. This set up an adventure towing through Dulverton, which is to be avoided at all costs. Problem is that we read: "turn L in front of Bridge Inn". It is not clear to first timers which is the front elevation. This may have been made more difficult to distinguish because a conservatory has recently been added. We suggest the instruction should read " turn immediately left after the bridge, and before the Bridge Inn.
