Great location for visiting Exmoor & brilliant for dogs

We enjoyed our three night stay here - booked the extra night once we'd settled into our pitch. Felt really relaxed on this site after several long days touring and traveling in other counties. Great location for exploring Exmoor and the north Devon coast. We were travelling with our two dogs and this was the only one of the six sites that we stayed on during our touring break that had a dog exercise field, so we really appreciated that provision and loved that the dogs could stretch and play off lead, making a few new friends along the way! Beside a busy road, but that didn't really result in disturbance from traffic noise. Lovely countryside views. Walked to the nearby local pub, the Anchor, on our last night for a yummy, good value tea - dog-friendly, so dogs came too. Nearby Dulverton and Tiverton (a little further out) were great for supplies. Although not planning to visit the area again for a good while, would definitely choose the site again for it's lovely setting, freindly welcome, dog freindlyness and ease of access to beautiful Exmoor...might even make an unplanned detour just to stay there. :) Would highly recommend.
