We stayed at the site for a week at Easter. It is without doubt the cleanest and tidiest site we have ever visited. The toilets are modern and clean with flowers and radio playing. The grass, hard standings roads and hedges are brilliantly maintained. The views from the site are spectacular. Our three kids (aged 7, 11 and 12 all particularly enjoyed the games room with pool table and table soccer! The main reason we had such a good trip, however, wasn't the site itself, it was the wardens - Al and Dee, as well as Spanner the dog! For the kids on Easter Sunday, Al organised a chocolate treasure hunt in the games room which the young ones loved! He was always very visible on the site, normally on the tractor with Spanner on the bonnet! Al was constantly chatting to the caravanners and couldn't have been more helpful. During our visit we had to leave our car in the garage overnight in Ilfracombe as the breaks failed. Ilfracombe is 35 miles away but Alan insisted on running me to the garage the next day to save me cycling back over Exmoor. On the evening before we went to collect it he even came to the van to help us research the cost of the repairs to make sure the garage was giving us a fair price! We also broke the end attachment on an awning pole and Al helped us the fix it in his workshop. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend the site either for a couple wanting a quiet break, or a family with kids like ours. Thanks again Al and Dee!
