Tiered site, so far-reaching countryside views. We were near the road but got used to (infrequent) traffic noise after a while. For a quieter time pitch nearer the lakes. Be aware the gravel is a bit deep to run a solid jockey wheel across if you want to pitch 'nose in'. Friendly staff. Shop with all the basics but check opening hours. Check out the Black Cat road junction a few miles from the site on Google satellite view, as although remaining on the main road, you don't have right of way!
