Englethwaite Hall
Lovely peaceful site. We stay here quite often either for one night, on the the way to/from Scotland or for week long stays. The pitches are well laid out and well maintained. There are several nice walks close to the site.
The M6 isn't too far away but you can't hear the motorway.
Carlisle is near at hand and plenty of shopping.
The only problem is that the mobile phone signal and 4G isn't very good. There is no site wi-fi only a small area near the site office.
