This is an excellent site for visiting the Edinburgh Fringe / Tattoo. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop but as others have mentioned there was a private minibus facility which at £4 each way was excellent value and just 20 minutes into the end of Princes Street. I was surprised at how noisy the road was and this coupled with being under the flight path meant it wasn't that peaceful a site. I was on a fully serviced pitch and the services were all great but I found it strange that the most expensive pitches were in the noisiest position. The site team were all very helpful and friendly. Nearest supermarket is 2 miles away and there is a shortage of takeaways delivering. I'd stay here again but probably not on a serviced pitch or one nearest the road.
