Probably the best club site despite dated toilet block

We stayed three nights during the second week in August which was fully booked, probably due to the festival and good weather. We followed the site directions listed on here and funny have any issues getting there. We were met with a friendly warm reception from the warden on duty who allocated our pitch. The site is immaculate and quite spacious and well laid out. A shuttle bus ran from the site into the centre at a cost of £6 return - worth it to us compared with a bus which stops everywhere costing £4. The only negatives during our stay was that we felt that the toilet block, although clean, was very dated and getting tired, compared to other club sites and considering the popularity of this site, would have expected better and more modern facilities. The toddler room was tiny. So much so, my wife used our own vans facilities. The children's play area is very limited - a climbing frame and slide suitable for over 5's. The site is on the flight path for Edinburgh airport, so expect aircraft noise from approaching aircraft coming in to land. Great views as they're very low, but don't expect an early night. However, these small downsides aside, these didn't detract our enjoyment of staying here and would recommend this site to anyone. We hope to return next year.
