Lovely City site but beside a beach!

First time we have been here and a lovely site. It is only a few minutes walk down to a lovely promenade where you can walk in either direction to Crammond (lovely tiny village) or Leith. Buses into Edinburgh are available, although as we have a dog with us we did not go into town. We did go for days out to Culross, where Outlander was filmed and Burntisland on the other side of the Firth of Forth crossing the new bridge. Showers were hot and powerful and the site, tidy and clean. Only problem for us was the dog walk was closed between 8.00 pm and 8.30am. We just walked our dog early on the promenade and last thing at night had to be round the site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would only comment on the noise from the airplanes which didn’t bother us as we live in the flight path of an airport at home but as the site is so near the city airport it is to be expected. Would definitely visit this site again.
