Comments about the city council are very poignant... I'm not so sure about the problem with planes is of much value though.
However the point about grandchildren and dogs is. We are charged extra for full service pitches because of the infrastructure cost, quite correctly, but has anyone at the top of the club thought about who pays for dog walks and other infrastructure and servicing costs generated to take account of dogs?

Has anyone thought about how much income members with dogs bring to the club?
Children are often admitted at minimal charge and dog walks tend to be on bits of ground that have no other practical use. A bin and some black bags add very little to a site's operating costs.
However, incidents of irresponsible owners breaking site rules should be brought to the attention of the wardens. The wardens cannot be all seeing but have authority to deal with miscreants.
The comment about aircraft noise, which is a permanent feature of the site, is extremely relevant and could be very useful to some.
Poignant? I’m confused.🤔

I'm not entirely sure what you mean about ""the usual few dogs owners on site with 4 or 5 dogs" because in my experience they are few and far between. But I do agree, whether it's 1 dog or 5, folk who allow them to foul on pitches need challenging in the strongest possible terms. I think you needed to report your concerns to the wardens who, according to another reviewer "were tireless in their pursuit of a well maintained site". Maybe you were just unlucky. In fact, reading through many of the most recent reviews there are complaints about "boy racers", a neighbour's "surround sound" TV, people "laughing" in their awning till 1 am and, of course, as you say aircraft noise. But nothing else about dogs!

The vast majority of dog owners do clean up after their dogs and as per club rules there is a max of two dogs to a pitch but no rule on the amount of kids / " grand kids " allowed to roam freely unchecked damaging vehicles with their bikes and causing a general chaos usually around toilet blocks. Maybe that's why there is a charge for them to cover insurance claims. ie £2700to have my car repaired after a speeding kid on a bike with no brakes.
