Great location

Our third of six stops on our four weeker and our second visit to this site. The weather wasn't on our side this time but we still enjoyed cycling and walking along the shores of the Firth of Fourth, metal detecting on the beach and of course Edinburgh. We bussed into the city one damp day and walked there again a few days later, it's a fair walk and only taken for the exercise, not the views. We were disturbed most nights by cars using Marine Drive as a race track and were buzzed by idiots on motorbikes on the Firth of Fourth Promenade - we didn't see a single policeman or Ranger and the amount of people who let their dogs foul the area was disgusting. We did get a good pitch on site though and whilst the toilet blocks are probably not as modern as most they were always clean (apart from the usual dirty sods who expect other people to clean up after them - Ugh)! Gripes:- The grass was not cut, and we found most of the other visitors every unfriendly although nothing the club can do about that.
