Location good, access to Edinburgh via minibus very good value. Nicely positioned for some good bike rides. Our only complaint is the noise from the wardens with their Garden Machinery ! We have just returned from a bike ride to the Forth bridge hoping for a quiet afternoon outside our van, and all we can hear is one warden with a grass strummer and one with a leaf blower, we can't even hear the planes. We know these jobs need doing but really a leaf blower to blow back gravel onto the pitches - what's wrong with a broom ? and what's wrong with a pair of shears ? And why are the wardens issued with ear protection but not us campers ? As someone who works in an H&S environment I will be bringing a noise monitor on my next visit. And don't even get me started on the big John Deere Mowers that seem to have become the norm with the Caravan Club, mostly used to empty the bins each day.
