Do not bring bikes to this site

Site is clean and has friendly helpful staff but has a serious problem with bike theft. I would not recommend bringing bikes to this site. They have CCTV but it is too large a site to be able to monitor it fully. There are some lockers but not enough for all the bikes brought to the site.

Many Thanks for your review. We are glad that you find the site to a good standard, and you felt our staff provided a good level of customer service - something that we always strive for.

How do you know that there is a serious problem?

It’s clearly incumbent on bike owners to take sensible precautions but I don’t think the order "Do not bring bikes to this site" is warranted.

Wardens are advising upon arrival that unless you have a heavy duty motorbike chain lock, bike thieves are cutting through everything else.

They strongly advise to use the bike lockers but not enough onsite.

The have an additional secure store but this is only accessible during reception opening hours which then restricts what you can do since if not back before reception closes, then high risk your bikes will be nicked overnight.
