A good base for Edinburgh
We think that this is a good site. The route in was not really clear, and a couple of signs at approaching roundabouts would have been welcome. The wardens are very nice and very helpful. The bus service is about a 10 min stroll away, and you need a torch if it is dark. The bus service is really good and you can pay £1.50 single or get a day ticket for £4. They are very frequent. We were there for the Festival and found lots to see and do. Excellent.
